
We founded Canterbury Brewers and Distillers with a passion for sustainability and local craftsmanship.
Our passion for exceptional, grain-to-glass whisky has been recognised once again! We’re thrilled to announce that we have won three prestigious accolades at the World Whiskies Awards 2025.
Canterbury Brewers & Distillers was founded and is run by myself and my wife Jodie with help from our fantastic team. My passion is the brewing and distilling, I love concocting fabulous new flavours using natural ingredients each with a story behind them.
We launched our distillery with our 'Foundry Streetlight' single malt whisky in March 2023.
Our chef Henry freshly prepares all our meals in The Foundry Kitchen using local ingredients wherever possible.
The spirits are handcrafted from English Barley making it very rare in that we don’t buy in our alcohol, it is all made from scratch on site.
This means we can guarantee that our spirits are made only with natural ingredients of the highest quality. This also results in our deliciously different flavour profiles, a totally new take on old favourites.
We have now introduced a dark rum, a rye whisky and a three grain whisky, our take on 'Moonshine' and our gin
